As we know that 1 KW = 3413 btu ( British thermal unit)
and 1 TR = 12000 btu

kw capacity = 12000/3413
Hence 1 TR = 3.5 kW

Both the answers are correct.

but for producing 1tr,only .7-.9 kw/tr(depending on machine).
