According to general circuit diagram of 1-Phase t/f , why
the primary is not get short circuited ,even though the
supply terminals both are directly connected through
primary winding?

How it will get shortcircuited. The primary winding has
impedence(Resistance+inductance).

Magnetic induction is the way a transformer works, in all
reality it works somewhat like a motor to produce the
voltages. Ex. (step down transformer) The windings twist
around each other producing a 1:60 voltage drop.. meaning
for every 1 high voltage winding there are 60 low voltage
windings. the high and low voltage windings are isolated
from each other therefore a magnetic field is produced (the
product). That is your load for whichever voltage is feeding
the transformer , and the "source" side of the transformer
works SOMEWHAT like a magnetic induction motor at that point
and becomes your "source" of low voltage.

To understand this correctly take the example of a simple
bell in your home. It has only 1 winding and due to this
the solenoid acts and rings the bell. But the number of
turns should be correct or if less then shortciruit may
occur and if more then it will not work the bell.
In general the formula V secondary/ V primary = Turns
secondary / turns primary. i.e. Vs.Tp = Vp.Ts

there is a chance of short circuit even vith
resistance,inductance.
The reason is that just the current flows through tye
path "v+,primary wdng,v-".
just path should be closed to flow current. It is the
basic rule in electricity..
