Why auxiliary transformers are not connected in parallel in primary stations?
Answer / Suresh.d
Auxiliary transformers are not connected in parallel in primary stations due to the potential difference between their secondary windings, which can cause circulating currents and reduce the efficiency of both transformers. In addition, it's challenging to balance the load between two auxiliary transformers when they're connected in parallel.
