Magnetic induction is the way a transformer works, in all
reality it works somewhat like a motor to produce the
voltages. Ex. (step down transformer) The windings twist
around each other producing a 1:60 voltage drop.. meaning
for every 1 high voltage winding there are 60 low voltage
windings. the high and low voltage windings are isolated
from each other therefore a magnetic field is produced (the
product). That is your load for whichever voltage is feeding
the transformer , and the "source" side of the transformer
works SOMEWHAT like a magnetic induction motor at that point
and becomes your "source" of low voltage.
