Oracle database consists one or more logical units of
storage called tablespaces, Each tablesapce consists one or
more file which are nothing but called data fiel, these are
the physical structure that confirm to the operating system
on which oracle is running.

Pre-requisite is that we need to have the space in the
database first to extend the tablespace. If you have it
then u can extend it by adding a datafile.

If u find a tablespace is filed with more than " 80% ",u
need to add datafile to table space.Otherwise it'ii
slowdown the system.

HI,
For extending the Tble Space, just Check the Fre Space in
OS level. Thats all.
Its enough to increase the table space, when it gets filled
more than 90%.

if the data file space in more than 90% then only u need to
add table space .To add table space we need free space in
the disk

Are u sure "Mr Eswar " is it more than 90% ,definitely
not.Your database will slowdown if tablespace is filled
with more htan 90%.And the second thing what is a datafile

why sap implemented lock concept seperatly as db locks(Oracle) are already there?

when ever i try to installed sap ecc6.0 sr2 on single system. it show error on phase import abap "Not all objects are successfully processed. DIAGNOSIS: for details see output file with invalid object invalid_objects.txt and log file object_checker.log . SOLUTION: normally it indicate the data load error but in some special cases( for example if some object were created or loaded externally) you can press ok to continue" here error sentence is complete. pls tell what actual error its? is it kernel file related?
