The exact meaning of landscape is the different types of
servers systematically arranged in the system landscape
directory.
landscape refers to the kind of systems in place. more
simple: dev sys, quality sys, prod sys and a sandbox.
The legacy systems which are registered with the integration
server to exchange business information with the SAP system
also come into Landscape.
So landscape varies from company to company.

Landscape is arrangement group of system to flow the objects like ECC,CRM, SRM, SCM and NW
In ECC (DEV System, QAS System and PRD System)
In CRM (DEV System, QAS System and PRD System)
In SRM (DEV System, QAS System and PRD System)
In SCM (DEV System, QAS System and PRD System)
In NW (DEV System, QAS System and PRD System)
SO every landscape connect to the DEV System to QAS System and QAS System to PRD System
