You can set up n number of Release strategies. But, Release
Codes only 8.

Purchasing documents (both internal & external) can have any
no. of release strategies based on the organization's
requirement.
With classification and without classification are the two
ways in which release procedures can be set.

as of ma knowledge.. with/without classification are the
ways to set Release strategy.. but in an organisation u can
set release strategy upto n levels but in R/3 u can only
set upto 8 levels... correct me if i m wrong
