Hi Usha,
i am suresh from mumbai working in SAP Netweaver so
as consultant i suggest you learn properly to Netweaver
from the scratch that means webdynpro using abap, or if you
have a knowledge in Java learn webdynpro for Java, and
Enterprise Portal for all these you can get online help
from net

HI usha.Having knowledge of JAVA will be more advantage to
learn Netweaver-XI.Some components of XI they built on
JAVA.Any way no need to bother abt it.If u r good at ABAP
coding then its not the matter.U can learn Netweaver XI so
that it will be more helpfull to achieve a career in
Netweaver.To exchange information from one system to another
system we use Netweaver technology.Try to get good stuff in
any NEtweaver technology then u can play with SAP.

SAp XIenables you to connect systems from different vendors
(non-SAP and SAP) in different versions and implemented in
different programming languages (Java, ABAP, and so on) to

Having Knowledge is not sufficent for SAP-ABAP u need to do
work on it(practise well)..and more over
In Netweaver which module u have interest,, and try to find
out wat r concepts likes in Netweaver consists off and so
that u can plan according to it...ok
