Aggregate is the baby cube of infocube,for execution of
reports,the data would be taken from 'F' table of aggregate.

When few of the characteristics and key figures are
frequently accessed, then an aggregate is created by
selecting those characteristics and key figures from the
parent Info Cube. Aggregates reduce the extraction time but
involves other overheads like attribute change
run,space,etc.

when my query hits same characterstics and keyfigures daily to reduce the query time i made an aggregate with that particular info objects..
Adv is improve the query performance.
disadv is it takes extra space for same data.so if your customer accepts then you create aggregates or else if it satisfy Thumb rules.
