I'm from the hotwel industry and has worked with le- meridien hotels. Can somebody tell, what will be the AS-IS in the hotel industry. Normally le-meridien has lot of properties all across the globe..ie manu no's of hotels...suppose we consider that there are 30 hotels in India...with headquarter in Mumbai( Sales Organisation)...and has a distribution chnl- direct sales and Division- Food n Bev, rooms and Services. Company- leMeridien, Com Code-Lemeridien Hotes. Customers comes in the hotel and stay in the hotel to have food, drink and avail services.It's doesn't have plant. Have various vendor to get the food material from in order to provide the food and services.Then what will be the AS-IS in this scenario?.Can somebody help me with this answer?

in sales org 2 tab in material master there is genereal item cat group and other is item category group what is difference in these two, we have to mentain which group(I mean general cat group or item cat group as BANS) for third party sales. recently i gave an interview, in that they ask me, in implementation project will do some configuration of organizational data in our sd based on the client request, the question is here, on what basis we are doing the configuration,its in which format, how we get this information, and how to start work in progress based on this? Hi SD Gurus, What is the difference between the Consignment Fill up (CF) & Consignment Pick up (CP) with relation to Sales Document Types, item Categories & Schedule line Categories? Also give definition of both Consignment Fill Up & Consignment Pick Up along with detailed explanation in relation to its configuration& customization steps along with Business Scenarios? Explain in detail about how do you copy an existing Sales Document type CF & CP, how do you name it ( Plz give Name key from your real time data)and what are the customizations you have done for your client? Do provide the document flow for both the Document Types CF & CP? Please provide as many real time data examples as many as possible with reference to your client/ Project?
