In SAP SD, Backorder Processing (also known as Partial Delivery) allows you to handle situations where the available stock for an item is not sufficient to fulfill a sales order in full. Instead of cancelling the order, you can create a backorder or partial delivery, which will be fulfilled once more stock becomes available.
