What is difference between radial vibration and axial vibration explain in detail .
Answer / Deepa Phakaliyal
Radial vibration and axial vibration are two types of motion that can occur in mechanical systems. They differ based on the direction of the motion:
1. Radial Vibration: It occurs perpendicular to the axis of rotation, where the particles move towards and away from the axis.
2. Axial Vibration: It occurs along the axis of rotation, where the particles move parallel to the axis towards and away from the center.

Specify ideal accuracy of flow element like orifice plate, Ventury, Annubar. Ultrasonic flow meter etc.
Good Evening all.My question is - For a feed water line to an equipment if i need to measure the flow we will use orifice /magnetic/vortex depend on cost/spec.If i need to measure a ''Alarm''signal and ''Interlock'' from one point i think we can use orifice type in one location with 2 different tapping points - one for alarm and one for an interlock to flow valve..If in case i need to have both these signals(Alarm & interlock) from magnetic flow meter,is it possible??will 2 seperate sensors will be located inbuilt r we can program it ??..i thk we can have one transmitter with these 2 signals...need to know any technical issues are there?pls clarify
Hi friends, from Aug 4th onwards iam getting spikes for analog inputs in our DCS for a period of 800ms. I throughly checked every thing, finally i found that the DI, DO's from MCC panels shields are terminated in the Signal Earth where Analog Input signals shields are terminated. Is there any problem with this type of termination?. i checked the induction voltage from MCC and getting around 25VAC, please suggest me in this concern. Our plant is 8months old only. DCS is Siemens Make Simatic PCS7, and the transmitters are Yokogawa make.
