Hi, 
It's a easy way to know the table name of the fields.
Example: T-code f-02 is used to post the GL transaction, in this transaction. i want to know the Document date so that i will follow the below path to identifies the table
path: 

Keep the cursor in the document date field than press F1 > you will get "Performance Assistance screen" in this scree we  can find "Technical Information" tab so now simple click on tab you will get table name. Similarly we can find any table names .
