1. Field status variant: A field status variant is nothing but which groups several field status groups(eg. 0001 is a variant which holds several field status groups).

You assign a field status variant to each company code.
2. Field Status Group (FSG):The field status group specifies which fields are ready for input, which fields must be filled or which fields are suppressed while entering documents. This specification is known as the field status.

Field status variant is at client level first we will create the FSV and assign it ot FSGroup.
This field status group controls the fields which are there in GL transactions which means which fields are
required,optional,suppressed at the time of posting.Because in general there are no of fields while posting a
document so we can't provide all fields also will get confusion.This FSG is at company code level..
