Since the request is to delete the role asssignment to 10
users, we need to know if other users arealso assigned to
the role besides the 10. To do this, you can execute PFCG
and access the the role in question. In the user tab you
will see all users assigned to the role. You can simply
delete the 10 users and save. If you need to delete the
entire role for all users then you first enter the role in
a transport request and then delete the role. Next you
release the transport request in SE10 so that the deletion
is moved accross the landscape.

go to su10 -- select 10 user --- go to roles tab -- remove single role

2) then go to pfcg -- select single role --- click on truck symbol--- create customizing request.

3) then come back to the pfcg --- give role name and delete .

4) now go to se10 --- release the request .

5) then import to the target system.

As business specific why to delete the role, simply remove
the role to which user it has assigned.
If you delete the role users will loose the authorization.

Still you want to delete role use tcode PFCG, give the role
name and click on delete icon it will prompt with transport
request include the objects in the transport and release it
using SE01 or SE10 tcodes now the role will get deleted.

As mentioned above create the transport request capturing the requested role, and then deleted the role in the system (DEV) and transport the TR. to the target system (Production), once this transport hit the production system the role will be deleted and hence the user assignment against this role also vanish.

In 4.7 EE, we have an option as User -> Settings -> Automatic Comparison at Save. Is it right if i say that this option checked will automatically prompt for User cpompare when we simply save the data after entering the users to the role? But whether the option is checked or not i did not get any prompt for User compare on saving the data after entering Users info in the role. My another doubt is whats the difference between User and Complete Compare options. If i dont do complete Compare, wiill that effect? Is it right if i say that User compare assigns the users to the role and Complete Compare updates the user master recoirds , i.e., User master record comparison is current.
