Backward scheduling : System works backwards to ensure delivery of material happens as per customer required date. Eg: If a customer requires material by 31st July, system will throw up a date to create pick list / delivery atleast 6 days before which could be on 26th July (deducting transit lead time, pick pack time..etc) to ensure material reaches customer on or before 31st July.
Forward scheduling: System will confirm by when material will be available for dispatch. (Future date)...

In backword schuduling system count the sales order
delivery date and consider one by one production time of
every product and forword schudling its also count the
salesorder delivery date but its count today date and get
its in forword way
