For open tank you just connect HP side to the bottom of the tank and vent LP side to the atmosphere.
Head pressure becomes liquid level .URV=Height*specific gravity (H*SG) and LRV =0.
For closed tank, use dry leg for non condensate liquids and use wet leg for condensate liquids.
Dry leg-connect HP side to bottom and LP side to top of the tank. LRV =0, URV= H*SG.
No need to bother about pressure inside the tank because it acts upon both sides equally.
Wet leg- connect Hp side to lower tapping and LP side to upper tapping and fill the Lp side with process liquid.
LRV=h2*sg
URV= h1*sg-h2*sg.
h1= level of liquid at HP side
h2= level of liquid at LP side.

What is the formula to convert mv to temperature in k type thermocouple?pls simply elaborate? I got one ans.it is Temp=mv×25°+atmospheric temp,but here what is 25°,i confusef ,so pls????
