1.PM Preventive maintenance To check the instrument and do the needful to prevent any failure may be done in the future.
2.CM Corrective maintenance:to correct the function of the instrument.
3.RCM Reliable centered maintenance filter PM problems in the instruments to obtain the maximum performance of maintenance for example each PM we found problem in LTXX01 we will change the type of this Tx to improve the maintenance performance.

PM: Preventive Maintenance is Routine check up in very clear very planned every 6 months or 3 months and do the routine check up as calibration,testing, servicing.
CM: unexpected error to be rectified.
RCM: is a process to ensure that assets continue to do what their users require in their present operating context.

I was working on calibrating turbidity transmitters endress+hauser at effluent polishing plant.We calibrated using NTU buffers.What happened is that when we immersed the sensor, everytime we raise and lower the sensor gradually, the reading will vary.my question is that is there any specifications on what is the required distance from the bottom of the container with buffer to the face of the sensor?Is it ok to install the sensor in a medium which has turbulence specially if bubbles are present?

An atmospheric storage tank has a diameter of 20 m and a height of 8m.It is half-full of liquid with the remainder of the space containing air normally at atmospheric pressure. If the connection to atmosphere is accidentally closed off and 10 cubic m of liquid removed, what happens to the internal pressure of the tank? What are the possible consequences for the tank?
