In the last step the voltage reduces the voltage transformer
connection.
VT most medium voltage applications

CVT is not as accurate as PT and it is cheaper.It is used
for PLC communication and line 'LIVE/ DEAD' indications.And
in special case ,it can be used for synchronization in gen
stations.
