Adding to Raja's answer above we need to use sm19 and sm20.

goto sm19--->dynamicconfiguration--->changemode--->tick all
check boxes for filter and audit classes do that for
filter2 also and cntrl+f3--->yes for configuration change
and distibute to all servers.

then goto sm20--->reread auditlog in application tool bar
push button.now you can observe login time and logout time
and logged users and their used transactions along with the
terminals(sap gui ip address) from which they connected to
sap server will be displayed.

Hello,

We can use sm04 tcode for particular instance user's login
list and if you want to check the total people login list
you can use al08 but here you can't check the IP address
but you can easily identify with Terminal name .

Hi,

To check how many users have logged in to one particular
system one can make use of Tcode SM50 for locally logged in
users and SM66 for globally logged in users.

Hi Al I have a small querry in SAP there are different type of Users one of them is System User I want to know why the system user is created and if created what is use of them and how they are associated with the Dialogue User ,As we all know Dialogue user can perform all work in Sap by logging in the sap server , so why the system user is created and how they are associated with Dialogue user With Rgds
