pressure switch range 0 to 2bar.i have to install from
ground level to 5 meters height.what is the formula the to
increse the range ? and every 1 meter how much pressure
should be add ?

At first you
should know
clearly the
correct fluid
density. If you
are working with
water; the water
density is
1000kg/m3.
Multiply this
with the tank
height 5 meters
then the
pressure acting
on switch at
liquid level 5
mts will be
5000mmWC, set
switch setting
at .5 bars. If
you are looking
to switch a
motor off
automatically
means use NC
contact.

It depends upon the tapping point.In your case if the
tapping point is at ground level and pressure switch
installed above ground level then no need of any
compensation.
