In a tank with high Pressure and high temperature the best
suited liquid level measurement technique is using a DPT.

But in this case density compensation is a must. Because
with the increase of Temperature and pressure in a closed
tank, the density varies for every liquid.

For level measurement of solids in tanks with high pressure
and temperature the best way of level measurement is using a
ultrasonic level transmitter. Though in case of solids,
temperature and pressure does not hamper much in the readings.

Your application is same as the Steam drum.

For this kind of level measurement DPT is the best method,
with condensate pot on both leg.

Known density liquid can be filled on both leg.
So only the DP varies with respect to level.

will be best.That will not come in contact with material so
less maintenance will required.
