what is difference between wheatstone bridge, pirani gauge
and strain gauge ??? explain its principle and working
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / sreenivasulu
wheat stone bridge is used for measuring resistance and
pirani gauges are used for measuring small pressures and
strain gauge is depends on the principle of when strain is
applied to conductor the length increases and resistance
increases

wheatstone bridge used in many circuits for variety of
purposes , it's main idea is to change 1 resistor of 4
resistors and get this resistance change in form of voltage
change.
Strain gauge is a "pressure sensitive resistance" which
attached to the wheatstone bridge to consist "pressure
transmitter"/pressure monitoring system.
R chnage by pressure as R=L*(ROH)/A , L:LENGTH and A:AREA
are changing by pressure , this leads to R change.
