BECAUSE THE VOLTAGE LEVEL IS DEPENDS UPON THE INSULATIO OF
THE WINDING & CURENT LEVEL IS DEPENDS UPON THE THICKNESS OF
WINDING IN CASE OF GENERATOR OR MOTOR. SO, INCASE OF
HIGHVOLTAGES THE THICK OF INSULATION IS KEEP VERY LARGE &
ALSO INSULATION IS COASTLY AS COMPAIR TO THE COPPER & HENCE
GENRATION OF ELECTRICITY IN LOW VALUE VOLTAGE.

1. Cooling system of alternator is not economical for higher voltage.
2. Voltage level depends On the insulation. Insulation cost is not economical for higher voltage (above11kv)
