thumb rule 1KV we get 1Mohm. if suppose 415V motor we get 0.45Mohm.

Megger is the instrument name. it is insulation resistance value.

megger value of any appleance should be 2 multiply with working voltage in kv plus 1 ie a 440 volt motor should have 1.88Mohm (2* .440 +1) , it is the minimum value. And megger voltage should be twice of working voltage of appleance.
