if current required for triggering thyristor at -30
degrees(temp) is 80 mA, what is the current required at 60
degrees
Answer / graeme
80mA seems to be a lot of gate trigger current.
Firstly, this information should be published in a
manufacturer's data sheet.
Secondly, generally the gate trigger current required at
elevated temperatures is less. So if you used 80ma as a
value at +60 degrees C, you'd be safe
