Lapping length is calculated as per IS code 456 is 50 time dia of the bar
It is not 110mm it may be 10 mm the dia of bar
Lapping is equal to 50D
D mean the dia of bar
Lapping is equal to 50×10= 500mm
If it is 110 mm then 50×10= 5500mm
