in COLUMN-MAXIMUM REINFORCEMENT WILL BE 6% OF GROSS CROSS-
SECTIONAL AREA AND MINIMAM REINFORCEMENT IS .8%.
IN SLAB -THE MINIMUM REINFORCEMENT IS .15% IN CASE OF ILD
STEEL AND .12% IN CASE OF hysd bars.

If the detailed drg is not available the steel reinforccement may be calculated approximately on the % basis of concrete:

lintels, slabs etc :- 0.7% to 1%
beams: 1% to2%
columns: 1% to 5%
foundation: 0.5% to 0.8%

Generally the Density of PCC 2400Kg and for RCC 2500 Kg

for general calculation purpose it will be taken as
100Kg/Cum

For foortings - it will be varry from 80 to 120 Kg per Cum
depending on the structure

For Columns - 135 to 150 Kg per Cum

For Slabs - 120 to 160 Kg per Cum

For Beams - upto 180 Kg per Cum

For lintels and others it will be below 100 Kg's per Cum

beams= 1 to 2%
