came into service menas what happen to the system?

if accidentally turning gear motor or bearing lift oil pump
came into service then nothing will happan to the system.
plant will be continue smoothaly only desk operator will
identify this and he should close the turning gear motor
and must check the logic again.

Nothing will happen. at the time of load condition also the
turning gear will be in the ON condition. it is the logic.
at this condition if the JOP gets start also nothing will
happen. only posibility is the shaft vibration may
increase. one more thing is the JOP supply is in the bottom
of the bearing. the minimum oil film also near to that
area. it may breaks the oil film and cause for bearing
failure. it will happen in the worst case.

the turning gear motor and drive provided to keep the rotor
in continuous rotation for fear of sagging shaft. only when
it is stopped the main drive can be started. there will be
interlocks provided and the comdition will never occur

this condition arises when turbine trips turning gear start
when speed of motor falls below a certain speed say 800
and jacking oil oump starts to lift the shaft as due to
reduced speed film lubrication is not proper

Nothing will hapen. it may because of loose connection of
speed sensor at turbine front bearing. Turning Motor to be
stopped from CCR & connection to be tightened by C&I
