Low and High Tension refers to the Voltage of the system.
Normally 1100 Volts (1.1 KV ) and above voltages are
considered H.T.
Voltages below 1100 Volts - e.g. 415, 660 etc. are
considered L.T.

There are Three Type of Voltage Level.
1.: L.T- LOw Tenstion Line, Which can control by ACB, MCCB
& MCB and it is up to 220V to 1.1Kv.
2.:H.T- High Tenstion Lines, Which also Divide in Two parts
2A.: Medium Voltage, Which can control By OIL CKT breaker,
VCBs, RMU, LBS.etc Its having Range 3.6 Kv to 36Kv.
2B.: High Voltage, Which is contol by SF CKT Breaker(66KV
to 220 Kv)
3.: EHV-Extra High Voltage (400KV, 765KV 1250KV)which can
control by very high engineering Relays and control System.
