Proportional term is to the magnitude of error.
Integral term is to the number of errors occur at a given
time. This will have an action after several errors occurred
in a given time (lag compensation).
Derivative term is to the rate of change of the error in a
given time. This will have the ability to predict the
occurrence of error (Lead Compensation).

PI Controller is used as Low Pass Filter and Lead
Controller.
