In india,alternator terminal voltage is3.3kv then through the transformer it is step up to 11kv and given to the plant substation and there it is made 33,66,132kv according to the grid voltage.

11kV ,20kV ,6.6kV
Not more than this after generate this level
we step up this voltage to 33kV,66kV,220KV
