Explain why inductance of the iron cored coil changes with
current?

Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback

Explain why inductance of the iron cored coil changes with current?..

Answer / kannu

Inductane of coil is given by l=flux linkage/current
through coil.
As current through coil increases saturation may set in and
corresponding change in flux might be less, this leads to
decrease in inductance of the coil.
