types of motors
ac motors and dc motors , dc motors are self excited and seperately excited , self excited are dc series motors ,dc shunt motors , dc compound motors. dc compound motors are cumulatively compounded and differentially compounded.
ac motors are synchronous and induction motors. synchronous
motors are salient pole and cylindrical rotor type. induction motors are single phase and three phase type.
