Apart from doing multiple validation one thing u should
know about CHAIN ENDCHAIN statement is that they are
special key words which are processed by screen processor
not by abap processor and there is a separate flow logic
for them known as screen flow logic.

CHAIN and ENDCHAIN are use to apply validation an multipal
feild.if we have to validate only single field we will use
field but for using validation on multipul field use CHAIN
and ENDCHAIN.

mostly chain.....end chain are using in dialog programming.

if i am having table control in my module pool programming
there we are having multiple lines to validate...........

so in that situation mainly we are using chain....endchain
concept in PAI.

the use of chain.....endchain is " muliple field input checks".

We can validate without chain endchain also but the thing is to avoid editable mode to input fields.
If I have 5 fields at input level if one of the field entered is error then renaming fields turn to edible mode to avoid this we are using chai endchain

it is not answer of that , i have small doubt on this !
why we use chain and endchain keyword ( i know for multiple validations not for that my quation) . if we can use below statement for moultiple validations .

filed : filed1 , filed2 , filed3 module xxxx .

other than this statement why we use chain and end chain keyword .

what will happen if you dont give any value in parameter and select options in report??will it fetch any value?
