The Stock Requirement List (MARD) in SAP PP (Production Planning) is used to create requirements for production orders based on the current inventory level and demand. It helps in determining when additional materials are needed to maintain a specific safety stock level or to fulfill upcoming sales orders. The Stock Requirement List calculates the net requirement by subtracting the current stock from the total required quantity considering the lead time and safety stock.
