There is no such dummy cost center in sap onlu dummy profot center available, so dummy profit center is created to take care any missing confrigration in controling.suppose in profit center, cost center is missing in this case dummy profit center will take care of this missing value.

dummy cost center is created to equall the balence amount,
which we have to pay at year end, instead of transfering
the amonut to concerned cost center monthly we transfer
that to dummy cost center after year end we eqaull the
balence , eg salary/wages bonus its calculated for 12
months and its distributed in equally in 12 months,first we
transfer that in dummy cost center and at year end we
transfer that to concerned cost center ,

The use of Dummy profit center is, those cost center against no profit center assigned on those incident system automatically transfer the data to DP center, at the time period end this data will distribute their respective cost center using cycles. like
1. Assessment cycle.
2. Distribution cycle.
