if i am in front of transmission line how to know that current direction without any equipment..

Answer / Varsha Sangal

Without any equipment, you can determine the current direction in a transmission line by using a compass. Stand at a safe distance from the line and align your compass with the transmission line. If the magnetic needle of the compass deflects towards the right of the line, the current is flowing from south to north (positive). If it deflects towards the left, the current is flowing from north to south (negative).
