the general principle of installing capacitor bank is
take 35% of the connected load.and in a capacitor bank put 12 -15% as a fixed capacitor.
suppose your connected load is 1000 kw then the capacitor bank size will be 350 kvar and the fixed capacitor will be12-15% of 350 kvar that is 42 -53 kvar

Maximum we can connect the capacitor bank 40% of the
contract demend.
EX: our Bescom contract demand is 1000 kvar.
we can connect up to 400kvar capacitor bank panel.
