why the measure taken in multiplication factor of 11for voltage like.. 110V,220V,440V,1.1KV,6.6K..

Answer / anuj tiwary

As the EMF of a transformer is defined by the following formula:
EMF= 4x(Form Factor)x(Flux)x(Frequency)xN
Where N= Number of turns of Primary Windings (integer)
Form factor = RMS/Avg = 0.70/0.63 = 1.1 (for a sin wave)
Frequency = 50 Hz (integer)
Flux= BxA (integer)

Thus, the EMF turns out to be a multiple of 11, like 110V, 220V, 33 kV etc

some practicle study shows that the reactive power at the receiving end is not equal to the reactive power at the sending end.But according to theory the reactive power is exchanged by different parts of the network – capacitors and reactors permanently, but is never consumed or produced. Then Where that reacrtive power loss occuring?is there any formula to calculate reactive power loss?
