Deeper the earth pit,better the ER value. Beyond 10 feet it
not easy to dig. The distance b/w electrodes is to be the
sum of the lengths ,but it is not practicable always.

Resistivity of the soil will better when depth increases.
Soil resistivity test will conduct and the resistivity will
selected for earthing calculation. As per IS 3043, it
should be twice the length of the electrode.
