exolain the star delta connection

exolain the star delta connection..

Answer / Mohd Rizwan

A star-delta (Y-Δ) connection is a method of connecting three-phase electrical devices to achieve the same impedance, regardless of whether they are wired in a star configuration or a delta configuration. In a star configuration, each phase has its own center tap connected to neutral, while in a delta configuration, the phases are directly connected together with a common node omitted. To convert from a star to a delta connection, apply Ohm's Law (V=IR) to find the terminal voltage of each phase and calculate the resistances required for the corresponding delta connections. Repeat the process for the other two phases.
