i seen a 132kv/11kv transformer, and thier is a sugar factorys 10MW EXPORT PLANT,MY QUESTION IS THAT WHEN THEY EXPORT ELECTRICITY THEY USE THE SAME TRANSFORMER AND THE CONNECT IT TO 132/11KV TRANSFORMERS SECONDARY SIDE CAN ANY ONE EXPLAIN IT.. THE TRANSFORMER IS OF KIRLOSKAR MAKE AND IT HAS TAP CHANGER.
My system is 22kv/3.3kv transformer. client is asking to use NGR, but as we have dedicated Neutral Earthing systems which has a value less than 1 Ohm. So i want solid comparision. Why i should not use NGR as my system is already protected. Can any one help me to get out of this.how should i reply on basis of some great comparision and calculations. Please help
In DC motor, the field MMF is given by NI.N-no.of field winding turns,I-excitation and both are constant. Then how could the main flux decreases due to armature reaction.
how can we understand that where we have to use ac or dc coil for solenoid valve and why?what is the different between coil of ac and dc explain please.
why the earth pin is thicker than other pins in a plug? If it is for reducing resistance, then why the copper earth wire is not so thick as earth pin of socket?
What is frequency?
how synchronous generator can be used as synchronous condenser?
My switchgear busbar is rated at 2000A and just imagine the actual load on busbar is 1000A. From that busbar there are 10 outgoing feeders. Now the question is will the load be 1000A on each outgoing feeder or 100A per outgoing feeder. 2nd thing how do i calculate the load on individual feeder. Thanks for your time. Please provide some clarification on this issue.
In power point wiring, often,we use less size of earth wire compared to phase & neutral wire and we use big size pin in pug top. how is it justified? can we use small size cable for earthing?
why two fuses are used in battery charging room?one in positive line and the other in negative line?do any DC system require two fuses?
