wheather Micro silica/silica fumes is an ad-mixture or
accelerator.

Microsilica is basically an admixture... When incorporated in cement mixes it serves as an accelerator because of its high puzzolonic activity corresponding to increased percenatges of silica in it. Also it absorbs mositure readily due to its spongy texture. So it accelerates the hydration process and similarly leads to fairly good compressive strengths.

micro silica is a admixture, generally 50 to 100 times finer than average cement or fly ash particles. it is added to concrete around 30kg/m3, it changes the rheology and reacts with the cement hydration products to improve the concrete strength, durability etc

micro silica must be an accelarator because this is added
with the cement as a replacement to get a good compressive
strength where as ad mixtures are used for the good
workability of concrete. This is my opinion. please clarify.
