When there are situations where the business problem can not be solved using existing SAP config, we go ahead with customization (Abap Code). In such cases the requirement, the gap between standard SAP and business demand, the functional approach (algorithm), user exits, test scenarios to be executed, impact of such change etc are to be properly documented. Such document belonging to one customization is called as functional specification document.

Hi, Suppose if the end user's problem has to be resolved by using development server or (in other words (IMG Server)then how can we help end user in resolving the error/ ticket? Who will have authorization to work in IMG server & get resolution for end user's error? As a support consultant how can we help the end user in resolving the issue in such a case?
