how amny bricks of size 240 mm X 120 mm X70 mm are required in

1 Brick = 0.24*0.12*0.070 = 0.002016 Cu.m
For 1Cu.m = 1/0.002016 = 496 Bricks
For 100 Cu.m = 100*496 = 49600 Bricks.
Cm ratio 1:4
Consider the thumb rule method 25% of Cement mortar
required for the brick work
=0.25*100= 25Cu.m of Cement mortar
That means 25 Cu.m of Sand is required

10mm th. with morter brick size=.25x.13x.08=.0026cum
volume of one brick with morter =.0026 cum
No of bricks one cum brick work = 1/.0026=385 nos
volume of one brick without morter = .24X.12X.07=.002016 cum
volume of morter =.0026*385-.002016*385 cum =.000584*385 cum
=.22484 cum
Dry volume of morter =1.20x.22484 =.2698 cum
Cement required = .2698/5=.05396/.0347*50=78kg
sand required = .2698/5*4=.05396*4 = 0.2158 cum

I used Etabs software to analyse a high-rise building. And I want to use templated UBC-codes inside to calculate the Seismic load. My question is: whether or not I have to control the seismic load by base shear load which is manual calculation? (just for more clarification: I can control this by input the scale factor into Eartquake definition in Etabs) I would highly appreciate your answer.
