SKIN EFFECT: when we connected supply to a connector then
electron flow, then internal resistance generate in the
center of wire, so then current increase high that time
electrons going fastly then conductor center produce hi
resistance, then electrons going on surface of conductor (its
celled SKIN EFFECT)and conductor can damage

Answer / gaurav kr rai
in a conductor the resistance on the surface is lesser than the resistance in the core of the conductor because of the cross sectional area increased at surface as we know that resistance R is inversely proportional to cross sectional area.So when an A.C. current passes through the conductor mostly it travels on the surface of the conductor and this phenomena is known as skin effect.
