current transformer is a step up t/f ,it increse voltage and decrese current to mesurable level

I have 30 kw motor load & i have selected 10 kvar capacitor bank for power factor improvement.my existing p.f is 0.85 & proposed p.f is 0.99 so ,is it right selection? 2 nd question how to connect c.bank whether in delta or star connection & how to decide it?
