if hp is on lp side & lp is on hp side then dpt show negative reading...
to rectify just remove & reinstall the DPT.

1. The easy physical way, turn the dp cell 180 degrees and
connect the fittings and tubings.

2. Check the LRL/URL using HART comm, if the range of the
transmitter is capable mean change the LRV/URV.

It is a common mistake to connect the lp side to the hp side
of the DPT and the Hp side to the Lp side of the DPT. SO we
need not to worry.

The solution is to remove the impulse connection from the
DPT , make a 180 degree turn of the diafram, which is the
connection mode of the DPT. If u see it you can see there
are holes on the opposite side also (H & L). which is just
the opposite to front side(L & H). SO no u can connect the
impulse line out here. And also we better recalibrate the
DPT Using HART Communicator.

This whole process will hardly take 5 min.

no problem when DPT transmitter wrong leg hp and lp mount the transmitter will show the negative indication
so you not remove the transmitter but only re-range the transmitter value with hart communicator on lp side put negative and hp side positive range

PT RTD Range: -200 to 500 degree celsius If I configured in DCS Lower range and Upper range . In face plate it shows red colour due to overa range how was the characteristics look If the temperature is more than operating range. how was the characteristics look . whether its in Resistance vs Temperature curve is Linear or Non linear
