Answer / s.sasikumar
thermocouple can connected in series with polarities
reversed to measure difference between two temperatures.
steps:
1.take 2 themocouples
2.connect in series and give it to mesuring device.
3.display shows the temperature difference between two
thermocouples.

By connecting many thermocouples in series a device called a
thermopile can be constructed to produce substantial amounts
of voltage and current.
Two uses of thermopiles are
a) analytical measurement of infrared (IR) radiation.
1940's-1970's IR Ray-o-Tube or Radiamatic thermometers used
thermopiles to create a measurement signal.
b) source of electrical or heat power, such as the heat
energy transferred from hot junctions to cold junctions, the
Peltier Effect, where electric current transfers heat
energy. The transfer is bidirectional, Peltier cells are
commonly used for refrigeration, to remove heat in order to
achieve 'cold'.

how is work pressure switch& level switch?what is the principle of this?
Calculate the maximum pressure drop that can be allowed to occur across a control valve, so that we can prevent cavitation / flashing from occurring. Use the following formula: Δ P allow = Km (P1 – PvapourA) where, Δ P allow - the maximum allowable differential pressure for sizing purposes, or terminal pressure drop; Km- the valve recovery coefficient from the manufacturer’s catalogue; P1 - absolute inlet fluid pressure; PvapourA - absolute fluid vapour pressure at the inlet temperature; Use Atmospheric pressure = 101.3 kPa, P1 = 1200 kPa(g), PvapourA = 4 kPa, KM = 0.72
