1 cubic meter contains how many bricks..

Answer / santosh singh

hi,

friends you dont read books like B.N. DATTA OR CPWD
SPECIFICATIONS which states ie 1 cubic meter of brickwork
contains 500 bricks.please read. don't get confused.

1 cubic meter contains 500 bricks of size 20cm x 10cm x 10cm
this is standard.
which includes thickness of mortar ie. 10mm
(actual size of bricks is 19cmx9cmx9cm)

if size of brick varies then u can find it like this

no. of bricks = total volume of work/ volume of one brick

out total volume of brickwork 35% is volume/quantity of
mortar for 8 inch wall and for half brick wall volume of
mortar is 31.5 %.
ok

thank u .
